Forum fixation
We have just finished fixing all the known bugs with the forums. Some of them won't really affect people although some of them like getting users and posts stats the wrong way round were just silly ;). They are all fixed now though so everything in theory should run perfectly.

Game guides
It has been a while since the last blog. And to be honest will probably be a while before the next one. But every now and then we pop over to the blogging section to let you guys know what is going on. The latest feature to hit tbe site are game guides. Well a game guide. We are currently test running a guide for World of Warcraft and depending how that goes we may start publishing more.

Game information page added
There is a new page on each of the games pages. As a side note before I start to rammle, we now have a game which has a page on more than one platform - GTA: Vice City being the game. But anyway the new game information page. It can be accessed from the game overview page by clicking all information below genre and platform and contains 5 sections of information. The top links you to the year, genre and platform. It will also tell you if the game is available on other platforms and if it is, it will link you to a list of the different platforms the game is on. The second section (for PC only generally) is a system requirements box. The third section is a rankings box giving you the popularity ranking for the game but this week and all-time. The forth box lists the titles that the game is also known as, common mis-sellings and so on. Finally the fifth box gives details on what we have in our database about the game. Cool hu?

Version 2.0 launches
Yay! Version 2.0 has finally arrived and Gamer Forge has a whole new look. After a few weeks of rewriting the scripts bascially from the ground up, the time has arrived. Now we can finally get back to the really important bit - the content. We have already posted a new review as it happens and more are on their way.

Digging into the forums
The hard part of rebuilding Gamer Forge for version 2 was always going to be the forums. Running a custom forum script it was just so big. But were are slowing chomping away at it. Most of the display stuff (well all of it actually) is done, the only bits we need to do now are the interactive bits like posting and moderatoring. Speaking for the whole team, I can't wait to get it done!

Traditional testing
There comes a part in every scripts life in which it must be tested in order to make sure that it is worked. That is this post.
May the blogging begin
Well it seems like we should get this blog going. Gamer Forge 2 will feature a blog once it launches (and by the time your reading this will have launched) which should be pretty cool. A place for random thoughts and developments.
